Perseus 1.10

Perseus is a web-based digital library and research platform from the Perseus Project at Tufts University. It focuses on the humanities—especially the Greco-Roman world—by providing primary texts in original languages (such as Ancient Greek and Latin), many with aligned English translations. Perseus links texts to authoritative lexica (including LSJ and Lewis & Short), offers morphological analysis via Morpheus, and supports lemma-based and full-text search. Additional resources include word-frequency and vocabulary tools, passage-by-passage navigation, and catalogs of art, archaeology, and maps. Much of the content is encoded in TEI XML and is available for scholarly reuse, and the platform’s core software (Perseus Hopper) is open source.
